CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION is a collective organization of all member golf clubs within a 40 km radius of the Calgary city center. Any new or existing golf clubs within this area may become a 'member club' by writing to the Secretary on the Executive list. A 'member club' must be a Member Club in good standing of the Alberta Golf Association. The Calgary Ladies Golf Association collects $1.00 annually per Lady Member from its Member Clubs.
All member clubs are required to host, in rotation, one of the annual CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION events:
* Ladies Closed Amateur Tournament;
* Senior Ladies Closed Tournament;
* Junior Ladies Closed Tournament;
* Tournament of Champions;
* Riley's Ladies Match Play; or
* Ladies Medalist Series.
* 5-7 CHAMPS home matches yearly

All entrants to any of the annual CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION events must be a member, in good standing, of a CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION member golf club and have a current Royal Canadian Golf Association (R.C.G.A.) handicap factor.
The Executive of the CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION changes each year. The member club hosting that year's Ladies Amateur tournament provides the majority of volunteers for the roles within the Executive.
As of 2011 - there are 31 member clubs in the CALGARY LADIES GOLF ASSOCIATION.
