TOURNAMENT BACKGROUND
The Calgary Ladies Senior Closed Amateur is a flighted 36-hole, 2-day, sanctioned stroke play event for senior amateur ladies ages 50+ in Calgary. This event is open to all women from CLGA member clubs who carry a valid Golf Canada Handicap Factor.
96 entrants are selected from the lowest handicap factors entries and are assigned in up to 8 flights. There are two divisons: Senior ages 50+ and Super Senior ages 65+. 25% of the field is reserved for the Super Senior division. The Calgary Ladies Senior Amateur and Super Senior champion are crowned based on lowest total 2-day gross scores. An overall tournament net champion and super senior net champion is crowned from a 2-day cumulative low net score. Gross and net prizes are awarded in all flights.
